Monday

Read Psalm 11.  What things did you learn about yourself and God?  What verse stood out to you the most, made the biggest impact on you?  Meditate on the words of verse 1- In the Lord I take refuge.  How do you take refuge in the Lord?  What comfort and peace does that give you?  Be reminded of the words in verse 5, that the Lord hates the wicked, He is righteous and one day evil will be defeated for good!

Tuesday
Read Psalm 12.  What things did you learn about yourself and God? What verse stood out to you the most, made the biggest impact on you?  Do you ever feel like the words of verse 1 is true, that the faithful have vanished?  What words of God are pure to you?  if you have felt like the faithful have vanished, hold on to the words of verse 7, how do those words give you comfort?

Wednesday
Read Psalm 13.  What things did you learn about yourself and God? What verse stood out to you the most, made the biggest impact on you?  Do you recognize a pattern in these psalms this week, of feeling like David feels that God is distant from him.  Have you ever felt this way, like in the words of verse 1-4, where God seems to have hid His face from you?  If so, be reminded of the words of verse 5 and 6 and trust in His steadfast love and rejoice in His  salvation!

Thursday
Read Psalm 14.  What things did you learn about yourself and God?  What verse stood out to you the most, made the biggest impact on you?  When you read verses 1-4, know that people for thousands of years have claimed there is no God.  What evidence is there for you that there is a God?  Focus on verse 7 and that God's people will rejoice forever when He comes back to give us that eternal salvation!

Friday
Read Psalm 15.  What did you learn about yourself and God?  What verse stood out to you the most, made the biggest impact on you?  Meditate on verse 1, who is worthy to dwell on the Holy Hill of God?  What is being described in verses 2-5 are the fruits of the faithful, how followers of Christ are to live their lives.  Which of these areas could you work on?  Take heart that our Savior lived all of these perfectly and has clothed you with His righteousness, it is by His life that we can dwell on His Holy Hill!
